Seems pretty clear to me that NIL should be covered under Title IX:
> Passed in 1972, Title IX requires schools to provide equal athletic opportunity, regardless of sex. That includes benefits, opportunities and treatment given to male and female athletic teams and athletic financial assistance, including athletic scholarships.
How is NIL money different than scholarship money?
- sympil 2y agoI think Title IX needs to be updated. It’s a fact that men’s sports, in general, generate more interest and money. As such, if athletes are going to be paid then male athletes on average deserve more pay.
