Sorry, how exactly is that implying a monopoly? They're talking about the color palette... If anything this just means YouTube is relatively "finished" software.
Of course i don't disagree that they are in fact a monopoly. I just don't think this post about colors is somehow a dog whistle for it.
- daft_pink 2y agoThey can afford to allocate resources towards several six figure a year employees working on research showing that one of their top three most outdated elements are the color of their logo and then replacing pure red with some other shade of red.
- latexr 2y agoThat still does not imply monopoly, just that they have got more money than sense.
