Could anyone count how many times politicians have enacted laws or regulations in areas they completely lacked any understanding? And no time to get informed.

Fortunately those days are over. Any politician dealing with a technical issue over their head can turn to an LLM and ask for comment. "Is signing this poorly thought out, difficult to interpret, laundry list of vague regulations, that could limit LLM progress, really a good idea? Break this down for me like I am 5, please."
(Even though the start appeared trivial, happenstance, even benign, the age where AI's rapidly usurped there own governance had begun. The only thing that could have made it happen faster, or more destructively, were those poorly thought out international agreements the world was lucky to dodge.)
