Ask HN: Is Whisper Still Relevant?
In terms of performance and permissive licence availability are there alternative available that are better than Whisper?
- fsflover 2y agoWhich Whisper?
- serendipty01 2y agoOP might be referring to: https://github.com/openai/whisper https://github.com/openai/whisper
- dougk 2y agoYes it's still relevant but I prefer WhisperX for some tasks: https://github.com/m-bain/whisperX https://github.com/m-bain/whisperX
- showmexyz 2y agoLooks good. It says 70x faster. Is it right or with some gotchas?
