Turmeric and Green Tea Among 6 Potentially Hepatotoxic Botanicals in US Adults
- daveland 2y agoHepatotoxic means toxic to the liver (i had to look it up myself)
- d3Xt3r 2y agoThis is the first I'm hearing of turmeric and green tea being hepatotoxic. Unfortunately, the study states “the daily dose of an HDS product consumed by an individual patient was not recorded or available for analysis.” Does anyone know at what dosage/frequency do they become hepatotoxic? I'm a regular consumer of both (in their natural forms, not as extracts) and haven't had any liver issues (that I'm aware of). Maybe I should go get a checkup soon...
