The OP may have accidentally used GPT as a hashtable to test its rote learning abilities.
- Luc 2y agoIn the follow up video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgXwD3TD43A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgXwD3TD43A ) he mentions there was a whole lineage of comparable code placed on the internet over a period of 30 years. He seems to say only a more basic version of his code was online though. Also he mentions he's a physicist and not a great coder, and it did really take him 10 months of struggling to write that code, so I guess it's understandable that he's more easily impressed than a professional programmer.
