In the current case in the US, it doesn't even have to be real anymore. And they just want to ignore courts that are in place to protect democracy. Musk just needs to claim it on Twitter and that's it. A divided country and soon an authoritarian regime. I'm 100% sure none of the scandals will reveal how much Trump put in his pocket with his protection to stay in his hotels... at a premium cost. Or how else he can fill his pockets ( eg. the extreme covid subsidies for the "hospitality" sector).
