I have 100% same process, including the adding of comments at the end to tag commands for future fzf searchability (although in practice I find the need for this pretty rare). Of course it does also presume keeping an appropriately long history, which from some of the comments in the article make me believe that I have long since forgotten that I needed to change that setting.
