It’s quite remarkable that the whole stack works as well as it does. I’m using a terminal emulator, which is running a shell, which launches an ssh connection, which opens a remote shell, which I use to attach a tmux session where another shell is already running, which I use to open a file in a text editor, which displays a cat emoji correctly.
