- rsynnott 2y agoYeah, it’s ambiguous. They mean ‘of the last 100 years’, ie 1925-2025, not the 20th century. (I can see an argument for the iPhone, but the iPad, really? I have an iPad, I like the iPad, but world-changing it is not.)

- keiferski 2y ago“The last century” can mean both the previous century and (1900-1999) and the preceding hundred years. “The previous century” or “the prior century” are more common ways to refer to the calendar century (19th, 20th, etc.)
