Turns out writing software is hard? Actually no, its people that is hard. If we all can just agree on using whatever language X, framework Y or tool Z, then we would just be done with it.
- oneplane 2y agoIt's not only people that is hard, it's network effects that are very significant here. The article also describes all sorts of truths in isolation, but the processes where these things happen do not exist in isolation. If all people were identical and everyone was on the same level, things would be different. But that is not how the real world works.
