The Oldest Papyrus and What It Can Tell Us About the Great Pyramids (2015)
- ggm 2y agoI like that this is a bundle of documentation thrown into an old (pharonic old) industrial site used for laying up boats, before it was sealed up. They guy was microblogging! (Ok: twice daily diarising, papyrus and stylus in hand) I also like the archaeologist standing back from debates which are very political in Egyptology. He does not try to speak to things outside his speciality. He's having fun mining a forgotten corner, along the logistics supply route to the pyramids. The stuff was there, because it was a brownfield ex industrial site everyone else (graverobbers included) skipped over. Even mis characterised as later period Christian catacombs.
