Dreams 'crushed' as Ticketmaster cancels fans' Oasis '25 tickets
- nubinetwork 2y ago> accusing them of being bots That's rich coming from a company that uses bots to drum up prices and resell tickets on your other shady website.
- sschueller 2y agoSadly there will be a lot more of this in future as the dismantling of the already weak consumer protection agencies will let companies do whatever they want. This delusional idea of letting the market self regulate needs to stop. Sadly even when people are dying there are enough greedy and stupid people who still think this can work. You are playing Russian roulette with lives and maybe it is your son or daughter that is one of the first to die because of some companies greed before "the market correct itself".
- SR2Z 2y agoTicketmaster is definitively not the product of a free market, and it's ridiculous to bring up people dying in the context of CONCERT TICKET SALES. No, paying a $20 convenience fee is not "playing Russian roulette." You wanna see Tay-Tay or whoever and your civil liberties are not at stake if someone is playing middleman.
