Today I was working on wrapping some simple Python library into a gRPC service so I can use it from some other Go services. The business logic is around 20 lines. Setting up uv, Dockerfiles, GitHub Actions, Secrets etc. took me basically the whole day. I can very much relate to "We are destroying software with complex build systems."
