There's a single alternative use case worth mentioning (two, actually): "Hey Siri, delete all my alarms" (as you can't multi select via the gui) ...and "Hey Siri, move my calendar event at 3pm tomorrow to 2pm Friday" You have to be pretty deep in the weeds to consider doing these operations with any confidence via Siri, but hey! They mostly work! :-P
