Just so we are clear that’s now in just the past couple of weeks:
- Musk doing a Nazi salute
- Two different of these little DOGE dweebs who forgot to scrub Nazi references from their social media profiles.
I get this is an uncomfortable realisation for a lot of people but I don’t think it’s something you can just wave away as a coincidence at this point.

- mandmandam 2y agoThere are a lot of people I wouldn't have expected fitting that definition right now. It's so fucking weird. The ultra-wealthy people who I had once most hoped would be raising alarms about this; people like Garry Tan [0] and Paul Graham [1, 2] seem absolutely delighted that these racist dweebs have been given physical access to the US Treasury under Musk's orders. Not so much as a hint of skepticism, even now. And, a lot of the stories about it have been flagged here on HN. See my favorites for examples. Is there something we don't know?
