He bet his entire fortune on that, for one thing.
- tombert 2y agoI spent my entire life savings on lottery tickets, and one of them wins the Powerball, does that mean that I am somehow gifted in managing my money? Or would it mean I just got lucky? Elon's stuff might be due to some kind of "skill", but that's not implied by him "betting his entire fortune" and winning.
- tombert 2y agoJust an edit: it was a hypothetical, I meant to write “if I spent my life savings on lottery tickets”. I don’t actually play the lottery.
