NIH is deleting grant applications from review based on keywords
NIH, under orders, is deleting grant applications with certain keywords, removing them from upcoming study section reviews. Politicians fingering the scientific review process corrupts that process, and is dangerous.
Flagging it does not make it false.
I stake my HN reputation on it; and I am a reliable source on these matters.

- SubiculumCode 2y agoI would add that this is per an email that was sent out to reviewers for an upcoming study section, which I was shown. It is happening, and it is a travesty. Other scientists have reported similar emails on bluesky.
