A few days ago, I ran my usual apt update/upgrade on Xubuntu 24.04 LTS, and it completely broke. Tried troubleshooting, but couldn’t get anywhere. Seriously? So, I made sure my backups were safe and reinstalled Xubuntu 24.01 LTS. Same story - apt update/upgrade broke it again. Not exactly how I wanted to start my Monday. I decided to give Debian a shot instead. The installation process was a bit different, but it went smoothly, and everything’s been running great since. So far, I’m really happy with it. Goodbye, Ubuntu/Xubuntu, and thanks for all the fish!
