The post I mentioned is just the text of a US Bill that would ban working with Chinese AI or exporting models to China? Yes, I'm sorry it's doom and gloomy, but it is happening and heavily relates to tech.
- defrost 2y agoIt's also a repeated topic, political, and it only takes a very few users of more than a few years to flag a post. On the flip side, [flagged] threads are fully active, they're not dead, they just don't feature on "the front page". For What it's Worth, I've been on site for over a decade, quite active the past two years and never look at "the front page". I see all posts that gain a little traction (even if they are flagged) via the RSS feed and I generally watch all comment as they happen via https://news.ycombinator.com/newcomments https://news.ycombinator.com/newcomments
