Julia is all well and good, but who is hiring for numerical computing roles? Lots of web and ML API plumbing. No real applied math anywhere to be found. I guess math doesn’t make money?
- leephillips 2y agoI’m sure the ratio of people working on physics simulations / those working on getting suckers to click on ads is a pretty small number. Julia is used more for the people in the numerator than in the denominator.
