I'm surprised this has no comments/interest, it seems to me Julia is making great strides towards being an approachable, high-performance general purpose language with a great STEM emphasis.
My personal list of the most interesting modern languages: Mojo, Rust, and Julia.
Of course there are plenty of other worthy candidates, Haskell and jank being a couple that are less relevant to my use cases...

- leephillips 2y agoI’m sure the ratio of people working on physics simulations / those working on getting suckers to click on ads is a pretty small number. Julia is used more for the people in the numerator than in the denominator.
