usually this signifies the year some article was finalized and published.
and this is a GitHub repo with recent commits so this is not correct here.
- otterley 2y agoThe date signifies that this tool is not new; and this is ostensibly a "news" site.
- lifthrasiir 2y agoBut there seem to have been no major updates since the original submission (every release up to 1.5.1 is for minor maintenances), so the year would be indeed useful for the vast majority who do remember that.
