in Lila, Pirsig shows 4 levels of things: physics -> biology -> society -> intellect (highest). (There was some addition later extrapolating from physics down to quantum, but it does not change anything). Each of the higher levels plays with and exploits the lower ones as it pleases. Now, that intellect there is mostly human intellect.. over human societies over human biology. If the intellect is replaced / substituted / forked into another form, then what about the underlying structure? A parallel path/hierarchy? Is original one abandoned, or just irrelevant?
