Drowning in Newsletters? This Simple Trick Puts Them All in One Feed
I subscribe to a lot of newsletters, but my inbox quickly became unmanageable. Important emails got lost, and I never actually read half of what I signed up for.
I wanted a better way to consume newsletters without them taking over my inbox, so I set up a simple system:
Kill the Newsletter to convert email subscriptions into RSS feeds
Gmail forwarding to bypass newsletter blocks (especially Substack)
FreshRSS to read them in a clean, distraction-free feed
Now, all my newsletters arrive in one place where I actually read them—without cluttering my inbox.
Would love to hear how others manage their newsletters. Do you use RSS, email filters, or something else?

- account-5 2y ago> how others manage their newsletters... For any site not offering an RSS feed I has an alias email address (similar to: use.rss.idiot@myemails.com) solely used for newsletters with a rule to move any emails to that address to a newsletter folder.
- xphract 2y agoyeah, that works! how many newsletters have you subscribed to that way?
