  As they say, "quantity has it's own quality". Thus, once you're in the "three comma club", your money not only insulates you from the legal consequences of what would be considered "wrongdoing", it also spawns a gravity-distortion field that can bend the entire system to your will. The laws effectively won't apply to you, and what normally counts as "check and balances" become moot.
