I've read somewhere (maybe even here on HN?) about the supposed emulation improvements regarding later 68k and early powerpc macintoshes in the latest versions of MAME, which have been way overlooked in the past by the emu community - We're still stuck using basiliskII, sheepshaver (with very few improvements since 2008) or some (understandably so) cumbersome QEMU builds. Hopefully we're getting a more accurate, multimedia-centric emulator for these platforms.
