Which more or less translates into client-side encryption. Which some people here don't like, weirdly.
- ihsw 14y agoIt's not weird, in fact it's perfectly logical. They have a vested interest in the proliferation of private information into the public space (the Internet), and -- more particularly -- that interest is financial. If such private information were encrypted by default it would put a sizeable dent into their pocket book.
