Yeah, I've always been a fan of having something like this going. I have found bugs in my software just from having the continuous graph somewhere. "Why am I using 100% of the CPU for no reason right now? Oh, after 10 minutes without a request it enters an infinite loop here..." Back in the old days the fans going to 100% was a good bug finder. But computers can be so quiet now, you have to use your eyes ;)
