China has lax copyright and patent laws. A lot of piracy is done in China.
- janalsncm 2y agoThat would be more relevant if we knew that model outputs could be copyrighted. As it stands now it would be a TOS violation at worst.
- notahacker 2y agoAnd the American company complaining about TOS violations cheerfully disregarded everyone on the internet's terms of service whilst hoovering up their content to train their model...
