DEI is the new catch-all boogeyman. My take is that the emperor has no clothes, and most people around him are simply too afraid to say anything. The rest have something to gain from his current anti-DEI fixation. I fully expect Trump to blame every future scandal, accident, crisis, etc. on DEI.
