Oh God. I know exactly how this feels. A few years ago I made a bread hydration and conversion calculator for a friend, and put it up on JSFiddle. My friend, at the time, was an apprentice baker. Just weeks later, I discovered that others were pulling off similar calculations! They were making great bread with ease and not having to resort to notebooks and calculators! The horror! I can't believe that said close friend of mine would actually share those highly hydraty mathematical formulas with other humans without first requesting my consent </sarc>. Could it be, that this stuff just ends up in the dumpster of "sorry you can't patent math" or the like?
