It’s a stupid idea.
1. The Supreme Court has already ruled that anyone held there has all the rights they would have if they were held in a jail in the continental US.
2. It would (probably) put the US in violation of their lease with Cuba, who would immediately cancel it - something they’ve wanted to do for 70+ years but previously had no legal method of accomplishing.
3. The weather is fabulous this time of year.
- sympil 2y agoThe Supreme Couet has previously ruled that (in essence) that abortion is a right. It had previously ruled that fair share dues were legal. It had ruled previously that Chevron was the administrative standard. All of these were subsequently overruled. Your point 3 is needlessly idiotic.
