As a solo founder, I don't think I could have the same velocity without Rails. I can ship features and fixes with less code and in less time than any other framework I've tried. I think the only other competitor to Rails for small teams is Laravel. Both are fantastic, batteries-included frameworks. Rails is boring, and that's good.
