So the USA government's plan is to traumatize US citizens.
Federal employees aren't some other race you can hate and destroy. They're your fellow humans, living by you and living the same general life.
Feels like we're all standing on a huge Jenga tower, with republicans trying to knock out blocks below our feet.
- jfengel 2y agoFederal employees have been demonized for decades. As Ronald Reagan said, "I think you all know that I've always felt the nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the Government, and I'm here to help." The hate has been there. The "destroy" part is newish, at least at this scale, but it was inevitable.
