Without reading the post. Why is the person changing their view of their relationship with their job in the first place? Doesn't he/she know of people who have been laid off before, among their family/friends etc? Even reading anecdotes of layoffs on the internet will reveal that one ought not be too psychologically entrenched in one's job.
