As long as it is not the "Gulf of the United States of America", I think it is still geographically correct. As long as my map stays with "Gulf of Mexico" on it, of course ;-)
Here in Germany, naming of places, roads, whatever is a constant debate. This is a very political subject, this is part of the public life of countries/communities.
- BrandoElFollito 2y agoInterestingly not so much in France. I do not remember a debate about that neither locally nor nationally. There certainly were some, it is just that this is not mainstream.
- rajnathani 2y agoStill not geographically correct, as the gulf is curled in between USA and Mexico, which is a part of North America and nowhere near South America.
