The article reads as if OP had a conclusion in mind and tried to justify it using the current narrative.
Chinese markets are competitive and cut throat on pricing in the consumer market. They have less government regulation aside from the media restrictions.
I don’t understand how this is communism vs capitalism. The current top chinese models are all released by private companies such as deepseek by a hedge fund who pivoted after government put restrictions on crypto trading.

- mionhe 2y agoWhen you have enough control over an economy that you can influence or outright control cost of labor, you can guarantee that you'll undercut the competition. If you put a competitor out of business by undercutting their prices they will no longer compete with you.
