    There are ignorant people everywhere. There are brilliant people everywhere. Governments should be criticized when they do bad things. In America, you can talk openly about things you don’t like that the government has done. In China, you can’t. I know which one I’d rather live in.

      That's not the point. Much of the world has issues with free speech. America has no issues with backing anti democratic countries as long as their interests align with our own. I guarantee you, if a pro west government emerged in China and they let us open a few military bases in Shanghai we'd have no issue with their other policy choices. I'm more worried about a lack of affordable health care. How to lose everything in 3 easy steps. 1. Get sick. 2. Miss enough work so you get fired. 3. Without your employer provided healthcare you have no way to get better, and you can enjoy sleeping on a park bench. Somehow the rest of the world has figured this out. We haven't. We can't have decent healthcare. No, our tax dollars need to go towards funding endless forever wars all over the world.
