PRC industry chains is just so far ahead. Even if west leads in compute AI, many physical applications still need hard work of transforming atoms that takes decades of capex to build up. By then PRC compute would likely be at parity or ahead. Hard to see how west catches up in the building unless close gap by jumping straight to self replicating grey goo.
