  The U.S. government owning half a social media company. Nothing could possibly go wrong. It already has de-facto control of two (redacted) social media sites and a media network. I remember when we had three networks. Will we now have just one?

  Is this also Perplexity looking for an off ramp and acknowledging it’s unlikely to succeed in its current state? I’m honestly not sure its value anymore. I almost never use it and should probably stop paying for it.

      If this doesn’t go through, will be interesting to see if they implode and become the first big name company of this AI wave fold. History is so much more interesting when you don’t have to live through it though.
