The lack of handling identity is a showstopper for ActivityPub. I cannot for the life of me figure out why they didn’t go the extra and make identity portable.
- diggan 2y agoCouldn't you, in theory, provide a service using ActivityPub + DID to kind of make this happen today? It's just that the current implementations (Mastodon et al) didn't implement things that way. I think I've read people arguing that here on HN at least.
