- Cristan 2y agoMaybe 0 A.D.? https://play0ad.com/ https://play0ad.com/ Its's closer to AOE1 in terms of historical period, but gameplay should be close enough.
- mtlynch 2y agoI think 0 A.D. is a super cool project, but I found it pretty hard to learn. It made me appreciate how delicate a task it is to teach the player the mechanics of a game like AoE and how good a job AoE did at that. I felt like 0 A.D. isn't approachable in the same way.
