Ask HN: Would including an AI in calls to friends/family reduce loud arguments?
For example, the AI could intervene in the call if it notices one family member is shouting without justification at another.
- gibbitz 2y agoNo, less AI please.

- amichail 2y agoMaybe they would have more respect for the AI since it tends to be more neutral.
- constantcrying 2y agoIt first and foremost would want to make me do terrible things to whatever person decided that a robot should surveil and intervene in my most personal conversations. Dealing with human emotions is absolutely the last thing I would want AI to do.
- meiraleal 2y agoRealtime like this would only make people more mad but maybe, after the discussion, to review what was said and what could be said, then it might be helpful. But it can also push you to be even more mad for having missing some things.
