The other day I had ChatGPT come up with a parallel sorting algorithm that I could run in steps and it did pretty well, so I posted the code to DeepSeek and asked if it could make some improvements. It created about 3 optimizations that sped up the code quite a bit and made a good suggestion regarding making the comparer generic. On the other hand it also created one small code error and suggested a parallel code change that would break the whole process. Ignoring that I'd say that overall it's quite impressive though, from the way it displayed the changes and ideas to how it did it in the end.
