I thought it was a fun idea, but the more I read the more worried I became for OP legally.
As one example, when the first bot says “I was thinking 20k,” if the spammer had replied “I agree to 20k, please send me payment and transfer details,” OP would be on the hook for selling this property for 20k.
If they don’t own the property, they could be liable for fraud.

- bearjaws 2y agoNo spammer is going to even dare open themselves up to a lawsuit where discovery would be on the table.
- elicksaur 2y agoLawsuits could be part of the scam in theory. Hypothetically, a scheme like this could involve riding the line, and when the counterparty (victim) trips up, use manipulative legal tactics to get them to pay up. A corollary would be patent/copyright trolls.
- BrandoElFollito 2y agoIt depends on the country. In Europe they would not as a contact done only by phone is not enforceable.
