Sounds annoying, and even though this feature undoubtedly saves lives, I’m not convinced that I want to be compelled to have it. My understanding though is that lacking regulation, the demand just wouldn’t exist. I might have died there on the Belt Parkway this summer, didn’t even see that guy slam his brakes and wondered wtf my car was doing. JFK, everyone’s in a rush.
