A rotten Apple: Tim Cook's betrayal of LGBTQ+ rights
- not_your_vase 2y agoI could keep listing all the problems with Tim Cook for 2 days, without even stopping to drink some water. But he was pretty much one of the very few (maybe only?) who pushed back publicly against the elimination of DEI policies - regardless of what you think about DEI policies or about Tim Apple, this did happen. Repeating that he is a traitor of LGBTQ+ is definitely an option, but I can hardly see how it is true at the time of writing this comment...
- ThrowawayR2 2y agoWasn't Tim Cook already friendly with the previous Trump administration, e.g. from 2019, https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/05/tim-cook-donald-trump.html https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/05/tim-cook-donald-trump.html ? If so, this fellow is way behind the times.
- generj 2y agoI think the prior Trump admin wasn’t nearly so caustic against trans people. It probably genuinely feels like more of a betrayal this time with years of build up of anti-LGBTQ sentiment. I agree the article would be better covering the prior association of Tim Cook with Trump.
