Apparently their S3 is running entirely based on a native implementation and offers substantial performance improvements over the AWS SDK. Bun seems to be a little inspired by the Go language design. It is batteries included and it has a substantial stdlib. Integrating something like an S3 SDK - what I would consider to be a high level feature - seems like an interesting choice, but makes a lot of sense considering Bun specifically targets cloud environments
