- scarface_74 2y agoBe prepared to be left behind.
- nejsjsjsbsb 2y agoI didn't mean I dont use AI. I just don't want to train models or do prompt engineering. I would be happy with setting up AI infra ... maybe.
- scarface_74 2y agoAnd you will still be left behind. I’ve been in this field for close to 30 years. I’ve only survived as an IC by jumping on whatever the tech du jour was. I started my career programming on mainframes in C and Fortran in the 1990s and have been on every bandwagon since then. My latest is specializing in AWS + app dev consulting. Right now I’m leading a Kubernetes + AI project. And last year I spent most of the year embedding an LLM into hosted AWS Connect call centers.
